From 1973 to 2007, there has been 49,523,945 abortions - babies brutally MURDERED in the United States of America. Statistics say every 22 seconds an innocent life is taken by the so called right to choose. Wow, after reading that, I became livid, as I am sure you did also. In 2002 alone there were 1.3 million babies killed. More children were lost by abortion then by any accidents, diseases, and murders outside of the womb. Does anyone see the problem here?

I researched this topic for sometime before I began writing. Did you know that there are actual videos of abortion on the internet? I was shocked. Why would anyone want to film that? They should be ashamed of themselves. I saw some amazing things as well…like a child’s fingers and toes at a mere six weeks after conception. There heart is pumping blood through its precious body by the young age of 5 weeks, at 5 weeks arms and legs begin developing,and they have brain waves by 6 weeks. At 7 weeks, they will begin moving. Now tell me that the “fetus” is not a person, a living being. Why do people use terms such as ‘zygote,’ ‘embryo,’ and ‘fetus?’ Is it so that they do not associate those words with a baby, a child? They use those terms, because while being medically correct, they can also distance themselves from what they are really killing, an innocent child who deserves the right to live. There was an e-mail that was sent to me a month or so ago, and it started out with a prayer to send someone to cure cancer or AIDS. God replies to the prayer by saying “I sent him, but you aborted him.” Think about that for a second. Logically it could have happened out of the almost 50 million children who were assassinated in their mothers womb, how many of them could have made a difference in the world?

The Bible doesn’t use the term abortion, however, it repeatedly lets us know that God made us, and that we are precious to Him.

Exodus 20:13 states that, “Thou shalt not kill,” and considering that a vast majority of abortions occurs out of wedlock, Exodus 20:14 goes right along with it, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

Ecclesiastes 11:5 states, “As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.”

God knows us before we are born! He loves us before we are born, and he has a plan for our lives. He knew I was going to write this blog long before I did.

Psalms 139:13-16- “For thou hast possessed my reins: thous hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”

Jeremiah 1:5- “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

Isaiah 1:1- ” Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.”

Isaiah 1:5- “And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Isreal be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.”

The most important thing to remember is that God forgives. However, that does not mean that there will not be consequences.

Exodus 23:7- “Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.” Meaning do not put an innocent person to death.

Proverbs 6:16-19- “These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imagination, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.”

If God could hear the voice of Abel’s blood crying out to Him from the ground (Genesis 4:10), do you suppose God has missed the cries of those nearly 50,000,000 infants who’ve been victim of abortion in America since 1973?
