New York Gay Marriage Law - Behind the Scenes

David Paterson, Governor of New York, says that growing up he was raised in a situation where his parents went out of town frequently. So, basically, his stance is that “Gays are nice, so why not let them get married?”

What kind of political stance is that? It’s good to see that a politician is standing on his own thoughts and beliefs and not being pressured by someone to go this way or that way, but his personal belief in this case is wrong.

In my other post about gay marriage in California, I make it very clear that the forgiving and understanding Christians love and appreciate the people that are homosexual, but hate the sin in which they participate. You will also see in that post where the Bible states that homosexuality is wrong, and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere, much less condoned by the government of the greatest country in the world.

If you ever read a Christian site or blog that talks about this topic, you will see that they are not preaching and teaching against the people, but against their sin. What is wrong with that? We are simply trying to educate others in the way of God, as God has commanded us to do.
